March in Paris – Spring is in the air
March in Paris offers a glimpse of springtime. When the sky is blue, Parisians will make the most of a warm afternoon by enjoying a slow walk in the park or a brasserie lunch in the midday sun. And if you do happen to get caught in the rain, you can always use the time to explore one of the many museums or art galleries.
Art Exhibitions in Paris this March
From March 2nd to 23rd July 2017, visit the exhibition at Musée Maillol, 21 Rue La Boétie. The exhibition tells the remarkable story of Paul Rosenberg. One of the most in influential art dealers in the first half of the twentieth century. The exhibition brings together some modern masterpieces which have never been shown before in France and include works by Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger, Georges Braque, Henri Matisse and Marie Laurencin. From March 15th, the Jardins Exhibition at the Grand Palais displays an overview of landscape paintings from the Renaissance until now. An overview of works by artists such as Dürer, David, Monet, Cézanne, Picasso and Magritte.

After absorbing the culture and atmosphere of Paris during the day, you may also be looking for some evening entertainment. You can catch the St Patrick’s Day celebrations in March in Paris on Friday 17th. This Irish occasion is always sure to be fun, no matter where you are in the world.
