Check-in time for rental properties is normally anytime after 2:00 pm (14:00) and check-out before 11:00 am. Early checkin or late checkin (after 20h) or late checkout may be requested in advance and is available for a 25 eur fee upon availability.
It is essential that someone from your party send us their desired checkin time as soon as they know. You are kindly requested to also call or text the phone number given to you upon your reservation when you are leaving the airport or train station of your arrival destination to go to your property. Failure to do so means that it is possible that no one will be present upon your arrival at your destination. If you choose our car service, then there is no need to call us (your driver will call us for you).
Any broken or missing items in the property you rent during your stay are your responsibility and should be replaced before your departure. Failure to do so will result in an extra charge at your expense (equal to the price of the missing/broken items). This includes lost or stolen keys. Please notify DesignerStay of any damage or loss of property as soon as possible.
Full payment is required when the property is booked. Payment must be made 24 hours after reservation in order to guarantee booking.
Cancellations are non refundable unless otherwise agreed upon.
Kindly bear in mind that should you leave the rental property before the end of your designated stay, we will not provide any reimbursement. These reasons include but are not limited to sickness of any kind, changing your mind about the property that you chose, or an unplanned return to your country, etc.
Greeting & housekeeping costs
Check-in and Check-out greeting, as well as all housekeeping cleaning before and after your stay are included in the total price quoted.
DesignerStay, the property owner, and any other suppliers hired during your stay through DesignerStay or its partners are released from any incidents or accidents that occur while you and your party are occupying the premises, as well as any physical occurrences. We strongly recommend that our guests subscribe to a comprehensive insurance policy that should include cancellation coverage, as well as a full coverage for all of your personal belongings and public liability for the duration of your stay.
Tours, activities, and other services
All travel arrangements and reservations should be made no later than 30 days prior to departure. Later bookings must be approved in advance. All departures are guaranteed after written or email confirmation from Designerstay.
Deposit and Final Payment
- A minimum deposit of $250 or 25% (whichever is greater) of travel cost per person is needed to hold a reservation for all services. This deposit forms part of your final payment. 100% of final payment is due 30 days prior to departure.
- If payment is made by credit card, then all credit card details will be discarded after final payment is made.Travel Documents
If customer requires paper travel documents, then they will be sent to you approximately 14 days prior to your departure. Late bookings and travel revisions can affect this time line. E-documents are free of charge. If a hard copy of the travel documents is requested, the following shipping fees will apply for first set of documents per booking (please inquire for other countries):
For each additional set of documents a $10 fee in addition to the above mentioned shipping fees will apply.
Cancellations for all Services except Property Rentals
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing directly to Designerstay. The following scale of charges will apply:
Once your trip has started, any changes made by the traveler are the responsibility of the traveler and must be paid for at the time of service. Once travel has commenced no refunds can be made for unused portions of any tours or services.
Designertay is responsible for making arrangements for the services offered. The carriers, hotels, properties and other suppliers providing services are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, servants, or joint venturers of Designerstay or its affiliates. Airline flights and routings are subject to change by the airline and will not result in any refunds. Flight delays and other transportation changes are unfortunate, but are an inherent risk of travel and are therefore outside the control and responsibility of Designerstay. All certificates and other travel documents for travel services issued by Designerstay are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and to the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied. If the services included in the tour cannot be supplied or if there are changes in an itinerary for reasons beyond the control of Designerstay, the company will arrange for provision of comparable services.
Designerstay reserves the right to accept, reject or expel travellers, and to make changes in the itinerary or services whenever the company deems it necessary to the comfort, convenience or safety of the trip participants, and to cancel a trip at any time. If Designerstay cancels a tour, the company has no responsibility beyond the refund of monies paid to the company by the traveler.
Neither Designerstay nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage or loss including personal injury, death, property loss, delays, change in air services, sickness, strike, war, quarantine, terrorism, bankruptcy, weather, upset, disappointment, inconvenience, or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier or person providing tour services. Also, Designerstay is not responsible for failure of clients to follow instructions given in travel documents including, but not limited to, check-in and check-out times and baggage handling, and failure to obtain required documentation such as passports, visas and health certificates where required. In the above cases, travelers will not be entitled to any refund. Only Designerstay representatives, who possess written authority to do so, may vary, add or waive any term or condition in this contract, to include terms or conditions set forth in the preceding provisions. Any legal proceedings both on behalf of or against Designerstay must be instituted only in a federal or state court located in New York, and such claim will be decided using the laws of the state of New York. Any legal proceeding against the company must commence no later than one year after the travel services have been completed.
Concerned airlines and their agents and affiliates are not to be held responsible for any act, occurrence, or events during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft. The passenger ticket constitutes the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tickets and/or passengers. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or transportation companies when used shall constitute the sole contract between the airline, the transportation company and passenger or purchaser of tour. The tour operators assume no responsibility in this connection. Transportation within the United States may be provided by any member carrier of ARC.
Travelers will need to maintain a current, valid passport throughout their entire trip when traveling abroad. Please contact your destination country’s nearest consulate for updated details on visa requirements. Costs of visas and border crossing fees are the traveler’s responsibility.
Smoking is not permitted in transportation vehicles operated by Designerstay. Stops may be requested so that smoke breaks may be taken outside of the vehicles. Smoking is not permitted in any Designerstay properties.
Anti Money Laundering Policy
It is the policy of Designerstay to prohibit and actively pursue the prevention of money laundering and any activity that facilitates money laundering or the funding of terrorist or criminal activities. Designerstay is committed to AML(anti-money laundering) compliance in accordance with applicable law and requires its officers , employees and appointed agents to adhere to these standards in preventing the use of its services for money laundering purposes.
